Sub: Inclusion   Director  of motor  Vehicle and  Sr.Manager MMS 

         in the Anomaly committee – request – Reg.

            We  wish to bring the following  for your kind   notice and perual attention.   It is  very disheartening  to point  out here with much disappointment that the pay & allowances  of common   categories of  MMS  Drivers and  Artisans  got a big  landslide   and  deep declare in the past 4^th, 5^th  and 6^th pay commissions.

            It is sorry to note that recognized  unions have not at all taken  any efforts for the improvement of pay and allowances and promotions.  When the other unrecognized Associations like us tried to highlight  the anomalies in the pay and  promotion of Drivers and Artisans   through  memorandum to the Departmental Anomaly Committee, it again pushed  down to the  worsened stage and to  feel that the MMS Drivers  and Artisans are treated as second citizens.   The dignitaries equal to the justice of India shows  whims and fancies   showing partiality to the  downtrodden  MMS Drivers and Artisans.

            Here we  would like to state that it would be apt while  holding discussion on the pay & promotion of MMS Drivers  and Artisans to include the high ranked MMS Officers who know  very well  about the nature of work, responsibility and risk relating to the  MMS Drivers and Artisans.

Hence,  considering the foregoing points, it is requested  to include the Director of Motor   vehicle and senior Managers of the Metropolitan  cities like Kolkatta,  Mumbai, Chennai and Delhi who know the risks and responsibilities of  the MMS Drivers and Artisans, more than others.

            Hence, it is kindly requested that the above said officers  may also kindly be included in the anomaly committee so as to highlight our  grievances  for redressal grievous  and the same  which have gone to bottom level step by step  in  the last 3 CPCs.
