1) Based on the experience so far with NPS transactions, validations have been introduced in POS for the various types of transactions in NPS. This will minimise the mistakes in transactions. Please note that this can be applied only if you have already upgraded with Meghdoot 6.6 SP1 which was released early this month. The update is available for download from PTC Mysore FTP site at the following location:

2) A number of calls are being received about NPS transactions. This is an indication that the offices in the field are not familiar with the Operating Procedure. The latest info on NPS operations can be downloaded from the User Manuals Folder: ftp://ftp.ptcinfo.org/UserManuals/NPS/
3) For PLI/ RPLI schedules (present & past periods), the new schedule.exe needs to be used. It is available for download in the Meghdoot v 6.6 Accounts PBS Folder: ftp://ftp.ptcinfo.org/Meghdootv6.6/AccountsPBS/Schedule/
